Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know about payments, earnings, selling and staying safe on LuxLink.
Getting started
LuxLink is a creator platform where members build a profile, share and sell content, offer services, and connect with an audience. You must be 18 or older to use it.
Creating an account is free. Some features — including having your profile publicly visible in Discover — require an active paid subscription. You can browse plans on the Subscription page.
Email verification keeps accounts secure and reduces spam. After registering, check your inbox for a verification link. You can resend it from the verification screen if it does not arrive.
Payments & wallet
At checkout you can pay with any of the payment gateways the platform has enabled — such as Paystack, Korapay or Flutterwave. If more than one is available you will see a "Pay with" selector; otherwise the available one is used automatically. You can also pay from your LuxLink wallet balance. If card payments are turned off, you can fund your wallet by manual deposit and pay from your balance.
Your wallet holds a balance you can use to unlock content and pay for plans instantly, without re-entering card details. You top it up by card/bank, or by a manual deposit that an admin confirms. Earnings from your own content also land in your wallet.
Payments are confirmed automatically, but if you closed the tab too early it can lag. Open your Transactions page and use "Re-query" on the pending payment to re-check it with the gateway. If you were debited and it still does not clear after a few minutes, contact support.
No. All card payments are handled by the payment gateway on their secure pages. LuxLink never sees or stores your full card details.
Earnings & withdrawals
When someone unlocks your paid content, your share (the price minus the platform fee) is credited to your wallet. Referral commissions, where enabled, are credited there too.
Open your Wallet, complete identity verification (KYC) if you have not already, then use "Request a withdrawal" with your bank details. Withdrawals are reviewed before being paid out.
Identity verification protects the platform and its creators against fraud and meets payout requirements. You submit it once from the Identity verification screen; an admin reviews and approves it, after which you can withdraw. Your ID document is stored privately and only used for review.
A small processing fee and applicable tax are deducted from the withdrawal amount. The exact percentages and the amount you will receive are shown live on the withdrawal form before you submit.
Each request is reviewed by an admin before payout. Once approved and marked paid, the funds are sent to the bank account you provided.
Content & selling
With an active subscription, go to My Content → New content, accept the creator policies, then upload your file and set a price. Buyers unlock it with a one-off payment or from their wallet.
Illegal content, content involving anyone under 18, non-consensual material, and anything that breaks our Acceptable Use Policy are strictly prohibited and will be removed. Repeated or serious violations lead to suspension.
Yes. You must own, or have the rights to, everything you upload. Before publishing you are asked to confirm this. Uploading content you do not have the rights to can get it removed and your account suspended.
No. Unlocking grants access to that buyer only. Redistributing purchased content is prohibited. Media carries a watermark to discourage leaks.
Account & safety
Use "Edit profile" from the top navigation to update your photos, bio, location, services and social links. Identity verification is handled separately on the Identity verification screen.
You can block a user from their profile so they can no longer contact or see you. Content and profiles also have a report option that alerts our moderation team.
ID documents and payment proofs are stored on a private disk that is not publicly accessible and is only opened by admins during review. See our Privacy policy for details.
Accounts are suspended for breaking the Terms or Acceptable Use Policy — for example prohibited content, fraud, or payment abuse. If you believe this was a mistake, contact support.
